Acuity was born out of the need for increased mental stimulation. With challenging questions, and upbeat format, minimal rules, categories with playing music, and a team or individual format, Acuity is wonderfully fun games to play. Questions are presented in a multiple choice format and can include audio clips and graphic images.

A game consists of five categories with four questions in each category. If two teams are playing, each team selects two categories from a sets of six randomly selected by the computer. During the game itself a team selects a category and then a level of difficultly. The player than has 60 seconds to answer the question.

When playing teams, each team tries ten questions alternating between teams after each question. During the game the score is kept on the screen at all times.

Individuals, couples, teams or organizations can get involved in playing Acuity. Places Acuity is currently played include grades schools, senior centers, long term care centers, assisted living centers and adult daycare centers. With the right package, these places can make it available to their students, residents and guests. Even Alzheimer patients have been playing Acuity and doing quite well!
